The Asterians

Marked by the stars.

Some among humankind are marked by the blazing redemption of the stars, their first breath drawn beneath the searing wake of a passing comet.

When the hour appointed by fate begins to dawn, they may be called to stand among the Asterians.

Just a few are selected — the ones who are worth saving and most capable to save in return.

Only by the sovereign choice of their own free will may they join our ranks — if the stars deem them worthy enough to survive the Apotheosis.
