After studying English and Italian Literature in London, Venice and Salzburg, Elke Stevens founded and continues to run a successful translation and language services business.

Elke divides her time between Austria and London, where she enjoys spending time with her two daughters. She lives in a lovingly restored old mill in the Austrian countryside with her painter husband, a Bull Terrier and two cats.

When she isn’t writing, she can usually be found walking through the surrounding forests, reading or dreaming up new worlds.
